Currently, I have been taking classes to become a licensed technician. However, I have worked at various veterinary clinics off and on for many years since high school as a CVA. I have always grown up around animals and loved the opportunity to nurse them back to health. I consider it a privilege to have been Dr. Luthringer's first technician and able to watch the clinic grow from a small, one room building to this amazing clinic today, with all the new technology. LOCVS is the perfect place for me to continue to practice my love for animals. In my spare time, I help my husband on the ranch & tend to our 3 beautiful girls along with all their show animals including: goats, lambs, and cattle.
After graduating college with my Associates of Applied Science Degree from the University of Nebraska, I decided to move to South Texas. I have been working in the veterinary field for nearly 5 years now and I don't know what I would d if I didn't work with animals. It has been such a blessing to work at LOCVS and to watch us continually grow as a veterinary practice. There is never a dull moment when I'm not at work because I have 4 dogs, 2 horses, and cattle. On my days off, I love to help my husband work cattle, ride horses, and snuggle up with my dogs. My husband and I have always loved agriculture and working in this industry is very rewarding.

If you would've ask me a few years ago if I would be working at a Veterinary Clinic, I would've probably told you "no". However, after using LOCVS for my own personal animals and practically seeing them every week, I became a regular. With the clinic growing quickly, they needed more help and asked if i would join the Vet team. From day one, I have really loved working here. It's been a great experience and I continue to learn new things everyday. With 2 boys & a husband, I don't have much spare time, Although I do enjoy going home and caring for my small farm made up of 3 dogs, goats, chickens, guineas, cattle and a pig.
Being from Nebraska & moving to the South has been a welcoming change. Texas is quickly becoming our new HOME! I grew up with many animals; always loving to play & care for them. It's been a phenomenal experience to be able to help all kinds of pets and their families. This makes my job here at LOCVS perfect. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and riding horses.
My love for animals started at a young age; watching my older sister show steers, gave me the insight and opportunity to show cattle as well. Moving closer to Live Oak County pushed me to find a different job. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals, so I decided why not work at a vet clinic. On my weekends, I love to spend time with family, go hunting & fishing, and watch my niece & nephew. At this time, I have 5 animals: 3 dogs (Aggie, Dixie, & Roxy), and two mini herefords.
I moved from Austin to South Texas almost three years ago and love it! A lifetime animal lover, I needed to find a veterinarian I trusted for my own animals once I had moved. The service I received at LOCVS was second to none. I have worked in various animal rescuse for three years and have always trusted Dr. Luthringer’s expertise. This made applying for a position at LOCVS a no brainer! In my spare time I enjoy traveling, shopping, being outside, animal rescue and spending time with my boyfriend and three dogs: Sparky, Xena and Chango.
