Boarding

Leaving town and need someone to watch your pet while you’re away? Let them stay with us! Live Oak County Veterinary Services offers boarding for dogs and cats in our spacious kennels. We are very proud of our boarding services and it is our goal to offer the very highest level of care and cleanliness to the patients who are staying with us.

We understand how hard it can be to leave your precious pets when you go away. However, we want to assure you that we will take care of your pets as if they were our own. Our staff is professional and well trained. You can trust us while your pets are in our care.

Please let us know if your pets have any special requirements. We want your pets to be happy and comfortable while staying with us, so we will feed your pets according to your instructions; also making sure every pet always has fresh, clean water available.

​

While your pets are with us, we will do everything we can to give them a good visit. We promise you we will take the very best care of your pets so you don’t have to worry about them. Enjoy your vacation or time away.

If you are concerned about boarding your pets, don’t hesitate to set up a time to visit our clinic and look around our boarding facility. We can also discuss our boarding policies and answer any questions or address any concerns you may have.

Why Should You Board Your Pets at LOCVS?

  • Our boarding services provides safe, climate controlled kennels, along with an outdoor play area for your dogs.

  • All medications given to your pets are supervised by our trained veterinary staff.

  • If an emergency ever does happen or a pet needs immediate medical care, our veterinarians and medical team are onsite for a quick response.

  • If your pet needs to update vaccinations before boarding, those can be done the day they arrive.

  • Your pet can also have a veterinary exam or other medical services needed performed during their stay.

In order to keep our boarding environment safe and healthy for all of our guests, we do require the following:

  1. DHPPv+L4 - within 1 year

  2. Rabies

  3. Bordetella (Kennel Cough) 

  4. Flea & Tick Prevention 

Cats​

  1. Rabies

  2. HCPCh+FeLV

  3. Flea and Tick Prevention

Kennel hours for drop off and pick up are: 

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m to 5 p.m

Saturday - 8 a.m to 11 a.m.
